Visit Arpino, birthplace of Cicero, Fumone with its medieval castle of the Popes overlooking the Sacco Valley, Alatri, the town of the Cyclops or Boville Ernica, another town that will transport you back in time. We are also surrounded by the natural beauty and splendor of the mountains of the Appenine range. The nearby national park of Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise affords a variety of walking excursions and quaint towns to explore. Rome, the eternal city, is less than an hour distance. In this timeless city we organize excursions to such famous sites such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, the Vatican and St. Peter’s Square, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Of course these are just a few of the magnificent treasures of Rome waiting to be explored!

Other sites to visit can include the Circus Maximus, where chariots once raced to the cheers of thousands, the monument to Vittorio Emmanuale with a terrific rooftop view of the city, Piazza Navona which is alive with artists and musicians and a great place to enjoy a meal or a delicious gelato, and also the ancient Pantheon, where you can visit the tomb of the painter Raphael. As you travel through the ancients streets of Rome your senses will also delight in the many fountains and other unique sites you will see. We can also arrange for longer visits in Rome as your teacher and classroom travel with you.
